Prepare to reunite your family

Family reunification

Joining a spouse, parent or child in Canada or Germany requires careful preparation of information and documents. GEMO helps organise your file and directs you to the official sources relevant to your situation.

01

Clarify your family situation

We first identify the destination country, family relationship, status of the person already living there and the purpose of the project. Rules vary by country, residence status, age, relationship and other personal circumstances.

02

Organise supporting documents

  • Passports and identity documents
  • Marriage, birth and other civil-status certificates
  • Documents concerning the person living in the destination country
  • Accommodation, financial or insurance evidence where requested
  • Translations, legalisations or certifications required by the competent authority
03

Follow a structured process

We build a checklist from official sources, organise the available documents and identify missing items. We also help prepare practical communications, appointments and the family’s arrival.

  • Timeline of known steps
  • Clear document organisation
  • Practical form-completeness checks
  • Travel and arrival preparation
04

Informational support

GEMO Consulting Travel does not provide legal advice, represent applicants before authorities or guarantee a decision. Where legal interpretation is required, we refer you to the competent authority or an officially authorised professional.
